The children are dismissed after the music portion of our worship service and are taken to the Fellowship Hall for their own special church service.

Lifeway's Worship KidStyle is a program designed to teach Pre-K through 5th graders to have fun when they Praise and Worship! Through a series of modern videos and curriculum taught by church volunteers, the kids learn Bible stories, memorize scripture and play games. WKS meets Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM

The primary focus of our youth department, lead by Pastor Joe, is to reach teenagers for Christ. Through a variety of activities, games and the application of God's Word, our youth group reaches out to Jr. High and High School aged students and provides timeless practical knowledge to deal with today's world.

Youth group meets every Wednesday night.
Junior High 6:00 to 7:30 PM. High School 7:30 to 9:00 PM.
Sunday School meets
Sunday morning at 9:00 AM.

The Home Builders meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM for a Sunday School class. The objective is to prepare and equip the young married couples of the church to grow stronger in their marriages and raise up their children to honor Christ. The Home Builders often meet in fun activities ranging from four wheeling out at the desert to manning the rib cook-off booth at the Carrot Carnival. Cornerstone is dedicated to preparing these families to carry on the traditions and work of the Church as we reach our community for Jesus Christ.
The Men are frequently meet for Bible studies. Starting at 6:30 PM, the study usually begins with a feeding of the physical body immediately followed by a spiritual feeding as God's Word is opened and the riches of the Bible are explored. The men of the church also meet periodically throughout the year for fishing/camping trips, men's breakfasts, "Turkey shoots" and various other activities to further develop our relationships with each other and with our Lord.
Our ladies also gather together on a regular basis to pray for our country, our community, and anything else that God lays on their hearts. The ladies regularly enjoy extra curricular activites such as Kayaking off of La jolla, hiking in the mountains or a ladies tea here at the church.

"Cornerstone Cares" is a ministry designed to reach out to those individuals in our communtiy in need of help. Through a team of volunteers this ministry provides food and other basic necessitites by keeping an inventory of donated non-perishable food, supplies, toiletries and much more. These provisions are then made available to any person or family, member or not, in an attempt to meet their basic needs as well as show them the love of Jesus Christ as He works through His church.
We are blessed to have people who share their God-given talent through music. Currently our Praise Team is made up of four musicians, (piano, bass, guitar and drums) and three vocalists. Other church members accompany the team for special services and as alternates. Our Praise Team is committed to leading heartfelt worship and not providing entertainment for our worship services. They believe it is crucial to have a personal healthy relationship with Jesus before they ever step up on stage to lead our congregation. The Praise Team and other members of our church family share their talents by providing "Special Music" for our Sunday morning services and reaching out to the local retirement communities.

Adult Sunday School - Meets Sunday at 9:00 AM off of the sanctuary for a practical application of God's Word

Kitchen Ministry - We are currently re-organizing our Kitchen Ministry. Our goal is to form a committee that is committed to organization and efficiency. As the Church Family grows, so does our activity level! Cornerstone also has a small group of volunteers who organize, free of charge, funeral luncheons for families and loved ones who use the Church for funeral services

Fundraisers & Special Events - Throughout the year, Cornerstone has several events to reach out into the community. These include special services for Veteran's Day and a "Fall Roundup" to kick off the year as school begins and families return from their summer retreats. We have multiple outreach activities in the form of athlete appreciation meals, baccalaureate services, concerts in the park, the Amazing Race, and anything else we can think of designed to inject ourselves into our community. We compete in the annual Carrot carnival rib cook-off and recently entered a float in the local parade. With each of these activities a clear presentation of Gospel is included where possible as we attempt to share the life changing love of Jesus Christ. We have multiple fund raisers each year to help support various ministries and offset the cost for individuals to attend such activities as teen summer camp, family camp, and others that may have a significant price tag. One of our major fund-raisers consists of preparing well over 1500 tri-tip dinners to help send teenagers to camp. Every member of the church, old and young, come out to help with this major undertaking. All of our fund-raisers are organized and carried out by a group of individuals who use their talents to serve God in this practical way.
